A Day At The Island in Pigeon Forge

If you’re looking for things to do in the Smoky Mountains you’ll want The Island on your list! A haven of entertainment, shopping, and dining, The Island in Pigeon Forge makes for a great day and/or evening.

Shop The Early Afternoon Away

With over 40 specialty shops, many with unique offerings that you won’t find elsewhere, The Island is a shoppers paradise. Even non-shopping friends enjoy wandering the unique shops which include a Beef Jerky Outlet, Pepper Palace, Magic Shop, and more.

Have your picture taken with a parrot, sample moonshine at Ole Smoky Moonshine, or stop in to Build a Bear to take home a special friend.

Grab a Bite

Feeling hungry after all of that shopping? Head to one of The Island’s restaurants for a bite to eat. From a quick at the Yee-Haw Snack Shop, comfort food at Paula Deen’s Restuarant, specialty pizza at Mellow Mushroom, an insult-riddled dinner at Dick’s Last Resort, or one of the other yummy options, you’re taste buds will be thanking you.

Relax At The Fountain

With your stomachs full, it’s time to sit for a moment and watch the Island Show Fountain, which offers a sound and light show day and night.

Hit The Rides

Now it’s time for some fun! Bumper Cars, Ropes Course, Mirror Maze, Laser Tag, and so much more awaits you at The Island in Pigeon Forge! Purchasing an Unlimited Ride Pass gives you the most bang for your buck. Don’t pass up a ride on the Great Smoky Mountain Wheel which offers you amazing views that you won’t be able to get anywhere else.

Before leaving The Island, stop by Kapop! Popcorn Shop and The Fudgery to grab some treats to bring back to your luxury cabin with you! And if you purchased the Unlimited Ride pass, plan on returning in the morning for another spin on your favorite ride; the pass is good for 48 hours of fun!
