Bring Your Dog to the Smokies for Winter Fun - Our Pet Friendly Cabins have Room for Everyone

One of the first things that comes to mind when a pet owner plans a vacation is, “What do we do with the dog?” Many destinations preclude the presence of a four-legged friend and it can become expensive or impractical to use a kennel or ask friends to take care of your pup. Plus, there is always the worry of “What if something happens while I’m away?”. One of the best reasons for a vacation to the Smoky Mountains is that there are many cabins in Pigeon Forge that are pet friendly cabins and they come in all shapes and sizes.

1BR and 2BR Pet Friendly Cabins

For a truly secluded getaway for your pup and a significant other or best friends, Eagles Ridge offers a rustic hideout that will help you get away from your daily stress. Enjoy peace and quiet in a thickly wooded area, with a partial mountain view and a hot tub to complete the relaxation. A large king bed welcomes you into the bedroom suite and there is a sleeper sofa for additional guests. Eagles Ridge also offers a large stone fireplace, pool table, and porch rocking chairs to ensure plenty of places for you (or your pooch) to perch.

At Windy Ridge, your pup will have plenty of room to roam, as the cabin is situated on a hill with a large grassy area and forest nearby. There are plenty of places for walks, with amazing views of Cove Mountain a short stroll away. This two-bedroom cabin also has a sleeper sofa and can accommodate up to six. You can light a fire in the outdoor fire pit or get the grill going if you just cannot get enough of the mountain air.

Larger Pet Friendly Cabins in Pigeon Forge

Make it a group or family trip at the spacious Cozy Bear Retreat. This beautiful cabin has three king suites, each on a different floor. Situated in a secluded woodland, there will be plenty of places and smells for your dog to explore and guests of all kinds will enjoy the outdoor firepit with nearby grill. There are three decks, including a covered wraparound porch with a large hot tub, offering plenty of places for lovebirds to cuddle, with or without a furry companion.

All of the bedrooms are en suite and one of them has its own jacuzzi nook with windows on two sides, with tree-cover ensuring complete privacy. A pool table in the loft, arcade system, flat screen televisions in each bedroom and the living room all offer opportunities for diversion. The wide stone fireplace and comfy sofas in the main room are sure to please, as well.

Whichever of the pet friendly cabins you choose, you will be close to thousands of miles of walking trails in the national park, plus many area attractions. Every two-legged guest receives a free pancake breakfast as well.
